Are you a student and interested in social, ecological and/or economical sustainability? Are you already actively involved in a project or would you like to be? Would you like to be able to successfully pitch a sustainability project idea to relevant stakeholders and funders? And would you like to find out where you can get support and funding to implement your idea? Then this workshop is perfect for you!
Join us to find out how to convince funders and other relevant stakeholders of your project idea. You will learn and test how to pitch a project idea convincingly — both orally and in writing. Last but not least, you will get the opportunity to learn where you get support and funding, so that you can implement your sustainability project idea. In the Zurich higher education area, these are: ETH Zurich, University of Zurich, Zurich University of Applied Sciences, Zurich University of Teacher Education, Zurich University of the Arts, Zurich Knowledge Center for Sustainable Development. On a national level, these are: U Change and Focus Sustainability. After the workshop, you get the chance to network with other students and people involved with organisations that can support you in your engagement with sustainability — light refreshments will be provided.
If you already have a sustainability project idea, please bring it with you, ideally including the information, which of the 17 UN-Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) your idea would help accomplish.
This workshop will be held within the Sustainability Week Zurich. This event series is open to the public and free of charge for everyone. It is a week full of events around the theme of sustainability — everything is organised by students on a voluntary basis.
