You want to get more engaged in sustainability at your higher education institution or need some advice for your student organisation? Then you can’t miss this! In an engaging format you get the opportunity to exchange with experienced student organisations across Switzerland. You will discover different ways in which student sustainability organisations work, and they will share their advice with you. You’ll also be able to ask questions and discuss your experiences with them.
In the first part, the established organisations with a focus on sustainability will be presented. Afterwards, you are sent to the breakout sessions, in which you learn detailed insights about the structure and development and benefit from hands-on experiences.
In the last part, valuable insights are summarised so that discussions and networking are encouraged.
Here is an overview of the topics that will be discussed:
“We in Higher Education Politics”: The student organisation VENALU will share with you its experiences in networking with actors in higher education politics and addresses the problems of cooperation.
“Creating a Strong Community”: The student organisation Oikos Lausanne will show you how they create a strong student community and talk about flexibility and creativity within their organisation.
“Unipoly’s Poles (Sub-Associations)“: Unipoly Lausanne will provide insights into its structure and its various activities (thrift shop, newspaper, LowTech Lab, etc.).
This workshop is open to all students at Swiss higher education institutions and is free of charge.
Registration deadline: By Mo, 30th October 2023
