Introduction to System Change

22 October @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Curious to learn how we can transform entire systems to tackle climate change, social inequality and economic instability? These interconnected challenges require more than piecemeal solutions. Join us to discover the secrets of systemic change and learn how to tackle today’s most complex problems with an awareness-based approach.

Event description

We face complex challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and economic instability. These issues are interconnected on a systemic level, and this is why isolated solutions are insufficient to create the necessary impact – be it locally or globally. But how can we transform entire systems?

We will delve into the interconnectedness and dynamics of systems to understand and effectively approach today’s challenges. Introducing awareness-based systems change, we will explore how to address the underlying root causes of issues instead of falling into symptoms fighting.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understanding the importance of a systemic approach to the complex challenges of our time
  • Learning how to shift from treating symptoms to addressing root causes effectively
  • Gaining insights into practical methods for implementing awareness-based systems change to your work

Programme

Theory Session (approximately 30 mins): We’ll start with a concise theoretical overview, providing the foundational concepts of awareness-based systems change.

Interactive Session (approximately 60 mins): Following the theory, we’ll engage in an interactive session to experience and understand awareness-based systems change, its importance, and practical application.
